A good start

25 01 2009

seems like the start of this year has been good to me… hehehe… it’s way better than last year’s or years that have past…

but one thing remained the same as last year’s… being a lazy ass bum in the house… hahaha…

i’ve been spending my holidays in the house again… but this year it’s much worst than last year’s… last year i was going in & out of the house.. been staying with my cousins.. i had so much more activity last year… but this year.. i laylowed a bit with some of my supposed to be activities… like going to EYC (Ethnic Youth Council) stuff..

this year though… i hanged out with some friends i’ve met last year… it ain’t that much.. but enough to have fun… i met them through my cousin… they were at her 18th.. then again i met them during my friend’s bday at his house…

celebrating NYE (New Year’s Eve) was so much fun than christmas.. my relatives stayed til the very first day of the new year in our house.. unlike last year.. they had to drive back home…

we all had fun in the house… i think most of  us didn’t slept until 7 am… hehehe… we were just enjoying talking to each other in the lounge… it was also in the lounge where my cousins & i slept.. it was crowded.. but that’s the very best part of it.. small space.. but you’ve got your cousins with you & just having fun…

we also headed to adventure park.. just a week after celebrating NYE.. i must say.. i enjoyed adventure park this year than the last time we went there.. they so much more there now.. hehehe…

last week.. me, my cousin & a group of friends headed to st. kilda beach.. it wasn’t really the best day to go to the beach.. but hey.. we still headed there.. hehehe…

the day was so windy… i was actually expecting it to be a rainy day… but luckily it was only windy… & it was sunny too.. i was even sun burned.. hehehe… i found out when i got home.. my face was all red.. and stings a bit… i for got to put on a sunscreen.. crap…

two days later after the beach.. we headed to our friend’s house to celebrate his 18th.. yes, the age that all teenagers are waiting & craving for.. hehehe… you get to do so much by the time someone turns 18..

it was fun coz most of my friends were there… just having fun drinking.. story telling.. making jokes.. & the best thing is… no got pissed off… everyone was a sport… the alcohols we consumed..?? it wasn’t that much.. hehehe.. just carlton draught to start things off… then we had shots of chivas regal.. & coke as a chaser…. then carlton draught again as a washer.. & we had some ice cream… hahahaha…. that was crazy.. it was actually kinda effective to get rid the taste of beer & to keep you going on drinking…

no one got drunked… luckily… we finished off around 7 am i think… we slept over my friend’s house… it was cool with his parents.. luckily.. hehe…

this year also is a special year coz we get to celebrate my grandfather’s 83rd bday… he’s here in australia for 1 year.. which is really really cool… i grew up with him… we headed to reservoir to celebrate it there… coz most of my relatives lives in the northeren suburbs… it’s only our family who lives in the west…

haiz…. i only did made another post because a friend asked me why i’m not blogging anymore… hehehe…

A friend asking for help

5 01 2009

On the 29th of December, I received a message in my Friendster.com account from an old friend, Mark Natan.

At first I thought they were spam messages, but I was also thinking that it wasn’t.

Apparently his sister was involved in an accident & badly needs help.

This are the messages that I received from Mark:

Message that I got on the 29th of December 2008

UPDATES OF HER IN ST. LUKE’S HOSPITAL AS OF DEC. 27:
The micro vascular surgery was done after eighteen hours of operation. That includes the skin grafting on her injuries. At this time she is still in the bed recuperating and can still fell some pain. Sometimes she was crying the steel that holds the bone injury was still attached until the recovery of the wounds. It will stake a long time to recover maybe many months, then their must be a bone grafting to heal the injured bone.

PHOTO LINK of her leg before she was brought toManila:

All of this were confirmed when Mark sent me another message:

After reading the second message, I asked Mark what actually happened, he was able to send me a reply today. I told him I was going to post it in my blog (this blog).
5th of January 2008
We had simple celebration the night of her birthday at home. Having dinner and singing on videokes.
The next day (Monday in the Philippines), she traveled and rode in a van to Catbalogan where her work is. She seated on the front seat. Suddenly, before she could arrive to Catbalogan, a child in school uniform passed on the street and had the driver panic, I guess, that let him make a sudden turn to the right. Unfortunately, the van crashed through a Mahogany tree having an impact on Ate’s side.
Ate was rushed to a nearer hospital and got a broken bone on her lower right leg. She had x-rays and diagnosed. I’m not sure the exact classification of the fracture but it’s like an open/compound fracture which scares us of how her leg be recovered.

She’s in conscious, thank God. And all is well on her except her right leg. The broken bone was crushed and that it might lead to infections if not treated immediately. It worries us because we don’t want the option to cut the infected part. We want a second opinion about her case if there’s possible way to recover the broken bone without the need of cutting it(or amputate). Because the crushed bone is where the complication comes.
I will ask my friend Mark to keep us (to those who are reading this & willing to help) updated, daily updates if he could give it to me.

Thanks!
