First impression wasn’t a good one

it’s nearly 2 weeks now since i ordered my laptop @ Dell.. i ordered the Dell Studio 15…

anyways, before i ordered it.. it was mentioned on their website that it would take 7-10 days… i was cool with that… but apparently, there was a shortage in supply of the parts…

it wasn’t actually gonna a problem with me.. only if they had informed me that it was gonna take some more extra days before i could get it… but they didn’t even bother to inform me… i didn’t get any emails or whatsoever…

i only found out when i sent an email to their customer service asking why it’s taking than usual… my cousin & my aunt got theirs not that long… i got a phone call on last friday night.. i sent the email on friday afternoon… that was the time they told me that there was a shortage… i told the call centre agent that it wasn’t good enough… then she decided to make my order a priority… which was cool…

if you actually make an order now… you would see those yellor/orange bold letters telling you that it’s gonna take an extra 18-20 days to get it… i think there is still a shortage in supply… hehehe….

their order status page isn’t really helpful… it doesn’t tell you why it will take long to deliver… it’s just gonna give you an approximation of when will it arrive in your doorstep… hopefully they will make it much better next time…

my mom told me that Dell called up today… they called my homephone.. was hoping they would call my mobile… & yeah… my laptop will be delivered on thursday afternoon… which means i would miss out on the media forum… or unless my mom doesn’t work on that day..

whew.. now i could start finishing up all my uni work once it comes… hehehe…

Not Joker enough…

yesterday was my cousin’s 29th b-day… we headed again back to the northern suburbs (we live in the west)… every week of the month.. we’ve been going back there… just to attend b-days… hehehehe….

last night, i told my cousin to try put on make up on me… you know, try to look like an emo boy… hahaha… but things went wrong.. hahaha… the room was kinda dark… & she couldn’t tell which eye liner was black…

me & my 2 girl cousins decided that we should just do a “The Joker” look.. hahaha.. yes! “The Joker”!!! haha..

everytime i get bored.. i always think of ways to fascinate my self.. hahaha.. like doing stupid stuff… but not to the extreme… i know my limits…

Up Dharma Down is releasing their second album, Bipolar,  on the 24th of October this year..

hahaha… out of boredom.. i found something interesting in the WordPress dashboard… i actually noticed it days ago… 

at the bottom of the dashboard.. or any pages within in the dashboard.. you could actually see a small Smiley at the bottom left of the page…

yes! he is just down there…

i actually tried copying the smiley.. but i couldn’t.. it was actually an image..

found out that Smiley doesn’t show up on IE (Internet Explorer).. how..?? currently using IE.. using my cousin’s laptop… hehehe.. she doesn’t have Firefox or even Chrome…

Fill the water dispenser!

weee.. back again.. posting some boring stuff.. hahaha…

what have i been up to..?? just uni basically… only got a few weeks left before exams starts… hehehe.. already checked my timetable.. i don’t like it.. i only got like 1 or 2 days off in between exams… which means i really have to put in time to stuyding during the break before exams.. 

anyways, when i got home today.. i headed straight to the kitchen to get something to eat.. only had breakfast this morning & haven’t had lunch… got home around 5:30 pm…

i was sitting with my sister in the table… she asked me to fill her glass with water from the water dispenser.. i was sitting next to it… & so i did.. then i told her to get the pitchell to fill up the water dispenser..

after having dinner, i put it all the used plates & utensils to the sink to wash them.. my sister hasn’t filled up the dispenser yet.. when i was about to finish up washing the dishes.. i reminded her to fill it up… even hurried my washing so that she could use the tap fill up the pitchell…

she went to the cupboard to get it.. & i kinda noticed she headed to the water dispenser without water on her picthell… i thought, what the heck is she doing… hahaha… then i just ignored her… then my mom noticed her trying to fill up the pitchell with water from the dispenser.. my sister didn’t even realized what she was doing until my mom interrupted her… hehehe… she was surprised when she found out what she was doing.. hahaha… & the 3 of us had a laugh…

apparenltly, my mom told me that it was already the 2nd time that it happened to my sister.. hehehe… man, it just made my day after a very boring day @ uni… whew…

got a day off tomorrow & thinking of going jogging… that’s if the weather doesn’t go bad… & then on friday… i’m expecting my laptop to arrive… also have to go to the city to do my volunteer thing for the Homeless World Cup Melbourne 2008… gonna be doing some data entry…

hehehe.. next time..!!!
