it’s nearly 2 weeks now since i ordered my laptop @ Dell.. i ordered the Dell Studio 15…
anyways, before i ordered it.. it was mentioned on their website that it would take 7-10 days… i was cool with that… but apparently, there was a shortage in supply of the parts…
it wasn’t actually gonna a problem with me.. only if they had informed me that it was gonna take some more extra days before i could get it… but they didn’t even bother to inform me… i didn’t get any emails or whatsoever…
i only found out when i sent an email to their customer service asking why it’s taking than usual… my cousin & my aunt got theirs not that long… i got a phone call on last friday night.. i sent the email on friday afternoon… that was the time they told me that there was a shortage… i told the call centre agent that it wasn’t good enough… then she decided to make my order a priority… which was cool…
if you actually make an order now… you would see those yellor/orange bold letters telling you that it’s gonna take an extra 18-20 days to get it… i think there is still a shortage in supply… hehehe….
their order status page isn’t really helpful… it doesn’t tell you why it will take long to deliver… it’s just gonna give you an approximation of when will it arrive in your doorstep… hopefully they will make it much better next time…
my mom told me that Dell called up today… they called my homephone.. was hoping they would call my mobile… & yeah… my laptop will be delivered on thursday afternoon… which means i would miss out on the media forum… or unless my mom doesn’t work on that day..
whew.. now i could start finishing up all my uni work once it comes… hehehe…
